i think that without humor those of us who loathe ourselves would be dead. not ‘dead’ but DEAD, walking blindly into traffic DEAD. self-loathing is only funny if you’re good enough to spin gold out of horse shit. people like my shit because they can relate: everyone is stupid and horrible and fucking shit up all the time, and it’s a relief when someone is shameless enough to admit it. we are all the goddamned worst.
